Description

Since olive wood does not absorb any smells, this mortar and pestle set is ideal for processing fine spices, aromatic pastes and fresh herbs. Like all wood products by BÉRARD, this piece has also been carefully handcrafted. Thanks to the natural grain and varying colours of olive wood, each mortar and pestle is unique.

Since olive wood is particularly dense, it is very hard-wearing, durable and does not absorb odours or dirt. It will bring you many years of joy if you follow a few tips on care and maintenance.

Notes and recommendations: Olive wood is a natural product and reacts to external influences. Therefore, please clean under running water at a comfortable temperature. To protect it, rub in food-safe beeswax from time to time and always store it in a dry place. Do not soak in water. Not dishwasher-safe!
