Garden Trading Pestle and Mortar

This mortar is perfect for quickly and easily crushing seeds, nuts and spices. Nothing tastes as good as freshly ground, and your dishes are sure to benefit from the difference! The granite makes a great decoration on any kitchen shelf.

Please clean before using to remove granite dust from the mortar!

1. Wash the mortar with water - without detergent - and let it air dry.
2. Grind a small amount of white rice in the mortar. Repeat the process until the ground rice powder is pure white.
3. Add four cloves of garlic, grind them and mix them with the rice powder.
4. Add a teaspoon of cumin, a tsp salt and a tsp of pepper and grind them all together.
5. Wash the mortar again with clear water and let it air dry again.

Now your mortar is ready for use!
