GuC Dutch Oven Insert

Use this insert to cook in a Dutch oven and keep it protected from the wind. Alternatively, it can be hung in a fire barrel with charcoal or briquettes as fuel. It has air vents that ensure a sufficient supply of oxygen to feed the fire.

Tip: Seasoning the insert regularly will prevent it from rusting. To season it, heat it and brush it with cooking oil that can withstand high temperatures. The seasoning process is complete once it acquires a dark coating.
